What it does

Set a credit limit per company.
A company over its limit or with an overdue balance goes on credit hold, and its buyers cannot place a new order until the hold is lifted.
A per-company bypass lets a company you trust keep ordering while it is over limit or overdue.
Payment reminders go out through Shopify's own reminder template, 72 hours before the due date, on the due date, and 72 hours after.
An AR dashboard shows exposure, overdue balances and which companies are held.
It never holds your buyers' contact details, and it never touches money.

What it does not do

Credit Guard does one job. It does not:

publish price lists or tiered wholesale pricing
provide a wholesale portal or a separate B2B storefront
generate PDF or branded invoices
sync with Xero, QuickBooks or any accounting system
work with tag-based wholesale setups, only Shopify's companies and payment terms
record who changed a credit limit, or keep a before-and-after audit trail
export its enforcement history
offer an API to read or set credit limits from an ERP

If any of those are hard requirements, this is not the right app and a setup call would waste your time.
